Windscreen for my V92C Classic Cruiser...

Hello All,

I've decided to add a windscreen to my 2003 V92C Classic Cruiser (dog's hack tug) for the chilly winter months.

When I went to check prices at the local Victory dealer they told me the factory set-up is no longer available. Then I went to a freelance bike shop that caters to the cruiser bike set and got a price of $375 for a Memphis Shades setup. But the guy told me the lower leading edge of the windscreen would still cut into my view of the instruments because the Vic's headlight/speedo unit is so far forward.

I'm posting here in hopes that some of you have traveled this road before and can offer advice on a windscreen that works well for this particular bike (and doesn't partially block my view of the instruments).

Also, if possible, I'd like to find one that has a similar lean angle as the windscreen on the hack (pictured below):

Thanks!

If your looking for a stock wind screen as would be on the TC, check eBay. Been a while but seen a full screen with brackets/hardware stripped of a wrecked 05

Windscreen fitment for 2003 V92C

Am I missing something here?

All the online fitment guides for windscreens I've found either omit the 2003 model V92C Classic Cruiser like mine or state that the particular windscreen is not compatible.

I found the same true at two local aftermarket motorcycle places when they tried to look up particular windscreens. Are these just misprints in the parts books and websites, or does my bike have something that's different that makes windscreen fitment different?

Thanks.

Victory T-Bag on the sissy bar
Not sure what else has been done , just got it 11/20/12
Yeah, the one in your photo looks like it would work great, but when I go to the National Cycle website, and use their "Products by Bike" search engine, only windshield cleaner and saddlebags come up...no windshields.

Do you happen to have any of the part numbers off the shield or off of the mounts? Can you get any pictures of the mounts on this?

Try giving Pinwall Cycle parts a call. 330 879 9910
I know they parted out two TC's in the last few months and had Shields, your mounting brackets and the two side brackets that mount to the forks. May be able to pick up th lightbar too. Just got through scouring Ebay and couldnt find the ones I had seen so it's a coin toss. They may be able to point you in the right direction.

Most likely you will need to track down the original Victory hardware for a V92TC. I also ordered a shortened version from 7jurock. All you get is the acrylic shield. You have to remove all the hardware on the shield and install on the new shield. The holes are drilled to match.

The OEM windshield was way too tall for me and I am 6' tall. The OEM shield is designed for someone 6'3" or taller. I prefer to see just over the windshield not through it. Windshields do fog up on cold mornings. No windshield wipers to turn on like on a car. :D

Sorry for the delay, have been occupied for most of the month,
You would probably need to find the hardware for your specific bike. Jurock is made to exact specs for original hardware from what I can tell by looking at their website. I called them and they are very friendly and easy to work with. Call & ask if you haven't already.
