VFCIII or Power Commander 5

So I am going to buy the Concept customs ground pounders and I am thinking of either a lyods or SS intake. So when looking at prices for a Power Commander5 I found them to be $295. The VFCIII cost is just shy of that at $275.

Would the extra 20 bucks be well spent over the VFCIII?

Anyone seen a lower cost for the Power COmmander?

Also has anyone done any comparison testing between Lloydz and S&S?

I think if I had it to do over again; I would go with the VFCIII instead of the PCV w/AT (Auto Tune) simply because I had some connection issues with the PCV and AT. When it works it works great and it does just fine most the time but it has caused enough issues for me that I would not buy one again. JMHO. Lots of other people have had no issues at all so maybe I'm not the best person to listen to on this issue.

The VFCIII can be set up without a dyno but to get the most out it; a dyno tune should be done when the bike is set up the way it will stay.

If you are just sticking with the air cleaner and pipes, then the VFC III will do fine. If you want to build a motor and squeeze every drop of performance out of the motor, get the PC V.
