Here is my problem I have my bike apart in my basement for mods and a good cleaning. I bought some S100 to do the powder coat and cylinder fins. Unfortunatly I read the can when I got home and found it is highly flammable. Since my bike is parked beside my oil furnace using this product would not be a good idea.

S100 is good stuff. The propellant would be flamable but you really don't put that much into the air with the nozzle. If your uncomfortable shut the furnace down when you spray it on your parts. The wifes hair spray is probably more volatile.
This is Ontario Canada not California cold as hell. :ltr: I have to remove both patio doors to get it in and out so it is a twice a year thing. Any other products do a good job?
Get the S100 in the pump bottle instead of the aresol spray. That, of simply turn off the furnace during the small amount of time you are actually spraying. Won't be that long, maybe 5 to 10 minutes.
This may not help at all but what I use, I got from a relative that does car detailing. Looks just like Armor All, it came in a gallon jug, pour into a spray bottle, spray the motor down that clean up the over spray and the motor looks good. This stuff brings the shine back with out the dirt attracting oil base of the other products. Lasts most of the summer.
May be just as flammable, but Sea Foam makes a spray called Deep Creap that is the best cleaner and lube I have found. Brake cleaner is another but it too may blow your house away.thumb up I have also found that the no scrub tire foam makes a good all purpose cleaner without a lot of work, but check to see what kind of metal it may affect.cheers
Cycle Solutions Formula B. I bought some for my 2003 Vegas - the black wrinkle finish was looking kinda faded. Directions say spray on and walk away. I did as instructed. 15 minutes later, I came outside and could have sworn that someone stole my bike and left a nicer one there for me! that sh*t works WONDERS!
I hear Pig Spit works too. But Harley products dont go near my Victory!
