Great looking bikes guys! Here's my HB with a few mods so far. Getting rid of the stock airbox made a big difference in the lines of the bike IMO. The RPW's sound SWEET! Seats on its way from Corbin. Grips, pegs, lights, etc... to follow. Recommendations?!
Well said Adam, thank you. Because it's the only color scheme the bike comes in? I have a chrome Ness headlight on order, and contemplating a springer front end somewhere down the road too. God forbid my HB didnt look like everyone else's...
These bikes have so much potential for customizing and personalizing. It would be a shame if they were ALL stuck in Model T mode - "Any color you want, as long as it's black." Trust me, I'm NOT knocking the blackout treatment, it's one of the things that initially made me put my $$$ down on it. But I also agree with Bob that the bike can get lost if it's all the same color. cheers
That Rick Fairless Vic is mighty sweet!
And isn't this forum about showing off your HB?!
Let's see 'em
Makes me wonder if Vic may offer the HB in other colors...
Great looking red accents to your Highball! Are those levers powder coated? Are you in Anchor town? Who's your dealer? I spent three years in Tok Junction back in the early nineties. Rode my Kawa Ninja back then on Highways 1 and 2....lots of speed back then. :crzy: Thankfully, Mr. Moose didn't step out in front of me.
Turbo, I really like the look. I have been looking for a solo bag like that but I wasn't sure about the mounting. If you can part with your secrets where did you get it and how hard was it to mount?
The saddle bag I ordered from J&P Cycle and any hardtail swingarm bag will work. I mounted it using 3 of the 4 leather straps it comes with. One at the front of the bag on the highest mounting point is looped through the fender strut cover directly behind the seat and in front of the strut cover mounting bolt. The other two lower straps on the bag are attached to the swingarm. All three are done up as tight as possible and you have to be careful with placement because the bag will flop araound a little especially when empty.
I am at work (away from home for long stretches) but will send/post up some close up pics when I can.
victory has definately hit a home run with this bike, best lookin bike by far on the market, all you guys have kick ass rides... If i didn't have the money i have tied up in my hammer, i'd have a high ball settin in the garage...
Turbohighball you are exactly right, our bikes are each an extensions of one's self. And with no further delay I'll throw my little bit of work into the highball fray!
Greetings all.
I will never, never, never, never, never buy any more parts for my bike.
Oh well five minutes (screen and bags off and its almost back to original).

I did finally get rid of the stock headlight, and seat. I do like this Ness light over stock, but I have a Judge headlight (all the parts, it doesn't come as an assembly) on the way. The Corbin is much more comfortable too.
If you want a quick sollution I've got one. I couldn't ride more than an hour either on the stock HB seat, the damn thing sucks A$$ but my uncle has an 08 vegas and the past two years that I rode the highball to Sturgis we averaged 500-800 miles a day for 6 days straight and I used his stock vegas seat, the seat has no seams unlike the highball seat where the "back support" stitching is and seams to just compress flat.
Stock vegas seat is a cheap easy sollution if you just want comfort and not a $$$ custom seat job.
