Well bought a left over (NEW) 2012 cross country today and Love it had some great incentives to do so 5 year warranty being the real icing on the cake .. Pic to come and more info as well .. Happy Birthday to me ..
Hey, I wanted to post to you last night that I also bought the black 2012 Cross Country yesterday. It took me awhile to figure out I had to post here first. Anyway, looks like we have the same bike. Hopefully we'll both have good luck with them, too!

Sounds Great to me Web .. Got 200+ on it now and other than a little buffeting, this Bike rocks !!
So no one gets confused in this thread notice give my location in North FL now, the house I bid on came through .. Really never expected it too but anyway am close to Lake City FL now so not all that far from Lake Park anyway about an hours ride .. Thought would finish off this thread with a few pics ...

You're lucky living in FL, you can ride straight through the winter. I've got snow ahead of me in NY so my riding time is getting short. I agree the bike rocks and I also agree that I've got to do something about the buffeting. I bought the bike knowing that. For me, it's not so much buffeting but just the constant wind coming over the windshield. It's too low for me. I expect I'll get the taller shield and some lowers in time. The Madstad brackets sound interesting, too, for adjusting the height and angle. Oh yeah, love the pics - I think I'm looking at my own bike!

Already have the taller shield now, big improvement but still need to check on this more ..
