... and if anyone knows a good place online to get this part I would really appreciate it. The closes dealership to me is nearly 100 miles away, so it would be nice to get it via mail.
Here is Honda East they have been here for a long time offering us some good prices. Ask for Katie shes the best http://www.hondaeasttoledo.com/

Oh darn, wish I had known they sold oem stuff. I stumbled across this site below and already placed my order. I would have rather gone through a more trusted source though. Oh well, I have never dealt witht his co. but hopefully my order gets here without trouble.
was it an outside bike? my hammer rubber looks new! my kp's rubber dosent even look bad considering it was an outside only bike for its first owner.
I suspect bikes that sat up for a while are the ones more prone to have issues with rotting rubber. I bought a 2007 with only 1300 miles on it just a few months ago, so you know it sat up for a while and collected dust. In my particular care, yes I am pissed, but no, I'm not surprised.
The site I initially ordered from cancelled my order because they no longer deal victory parts, so this gave me a perfect opportunity to call Honda East. I must say, I'm very impressed with the service i got from the gentelmen I talked to, so my hat's off to Honda East. Should be getting the part shortly.
Well... this god dang part is phucking impossible to get!
Online parts places show that it's a discontinued part...
The dealership in my state has some replacement part number that pops up on his system that is actually some intake part off a Vision, so it's not even right...
Polaris tells me it's on back order... with no estimated time of delivery...
WTF?!
C'mon victory!!! I could have had my Japanese bike rebuilt piece by piece by now!

Do you have the part number by any chance?

And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
My dealership tired to sell me 5137854 as replacement but thanks to Rylan Vos (Vicbuilder - Thanks bro!) who already got that part and realized it was wrong, I didn't make that mistake. I know it's not the dealer's fault, the system just has the wrong info.
So if you need the part and they try to sell you 5137854, DON"T BUY IT!

Actually, the original part number seems to be: 1253335 (and was used on 02-06 models) which was subtituted by 1203277 for all 2007 models.
