If you don't want the boat no more and you like the bike, you think it is reasonable go for it. make sure the bike runs. I have seen lots of wheels that cost $3000 plus. Never get it out of them if you go to sell them used. Most people talk up there stuff, just look it over, ride if he will let you.

Then its up to you to decide about the boat like Atbyrne is saying. Gonna sit there another 6 months or pick up the bike you always wanted. If it is NOT what you always wanted then walk away quickly. I'm thinking he is talking a big game on his bike to get out from under it. There aint a lot of peeps on this forum that only ride a VIC 2500 miles in 7 years... I ride that in two months... in the winter... lol.. These bikes are amazing!

Your paying top dollar for someone else's customizing. I shopped for my TC for quite a while and almost stole it from the seller during the winter. Then commenced customizing which is half the fun. Buy something you can AFFORD to customize and not be upside down which is your fear. I VOTE with Okie and Bandit on this one.

Keep us posted on the outcome... AND if you need help researching your NEXT Vic, were here.

I'd say you need to pass on this one. I got a 2012 Vegas with 782 miles on it for just under 10K! It has shotgun pipes, windshield, and I'm pretty sure it was chipped for the pipes (stage 1 maybe?). You can do much better than what he's offering. Heck for what you're asking for the boat, you could pay MSRP for a NEW Vegas, get $500-$1000 in accessories thrown in the deal and have $1000 in cash left to customize it however you want! Yeah, I think I'd pass on it.
