What??? You guys DON"T ride naked down there???? Bunch of wusses. Why else do you think that motorcycle manufacturers pad the seats? lol I might be Canadian but that is why I am an Arizonian during the winter. Thanks for the help

Definitely want to ride up to Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, and up to the Grand Canyon.

It all depends on their winter snowfall; having family in Flagstaff, I have been up there during all parts of the year, and the winters seem to be different every year. One year they get a ton of snow, and it sticks around late into the Spring, other years, they get very little snow. About 5 years ago, while heading up I-17 from PHX, ran into a blizzard in March.

I just recommend monitoring the weather throughout Dec/Jan/Feb.

Just an FYI; if you do make it to Jerome, just be mindful of the local constabulary. They don't seem to care for motorcycles roaring through their little wide spot in the road. Don't ask me how I know!!

P.S. Lived in Scottsdale for 7 years and loved the riding in the Desert Southwest.

Thanks for the warning Dakota rider. Although I am always over the speed limit,( not on purpose, just the way the bike accelerates by itself lol) I tend to ride carefully in new and unfamiliar areas
Ride safe

Been to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in July and seen snow on the ground. Pretty strange it was, and cold! Take your warm cloths with you up north and for sure your rain gear.
