New v92sc owner from Georgia

Hi everyone I am a new owner of a 2000 v92sc. I can't ride it, because the fuel pump was defective when I got it. We did start it on gas pouring just a little into the throttle bodies. The problem is sourcing the quick disconnect fitting. Any info would be nice. I have searched here and the internet, without much luck. I don't want to buy one from a dealer for over 100 bucks. Because it would be 10 years old or so, and since it is plastic half of it's life would be gone. I would prefer one made of metal. I understand from searching that it has a one way check valve in it, and would prefer to keep that feature as it is for safety. My next question is where do I get parts for this bike? The parts I need are not on any of the sites listed here. Thanks, David

Welcome David, congrats on your new ride and may you be riding sooner then later. Get one more post out of the way and you can start posting in the V92 forum. Check out the new user thread for any help you need, a great group of folks around here willing to help.

Fuel pump? Search here for VicBuilder. He has the best deal, best part on that one. Your T-Fitting... There is a thread in the V92 forum that tells how to build one. Im going to try to find it as soon as I get a chance but that may not be until later tonight. What parts are you looking for? Post in the forsale forum as WTB and MAYBE some folks may have stuff laying around. Next stop, Ebay is best bet. There are 2 or 3 scrappers on there that are always parting out bikes that were less fortunate. You could also post a list of what you need in the V92 forum for quick reference.

Thanks guys I read the thread on making your own fitting and thought I saved it but can't find it again searched for it hours on end. The guy I got the bike from purchased the pump from the vic shop. And I have been all over ebay and the internet looking for parts that I need.
