There should be no tax unless you are shipping to the same state that the product is being shipped from, so why the tax?

I beleive this holds true for most states at least in Missouri it does.

It has nothing to do with shipping. It has to do with "presence" and AMSOIL has a physical presence in all 50 States and Canada.

The real truth is that the customer is legally responsible to file that tax if the shipper does not collect it.

i noticed in one of your earlier post that your address is in maryville tn i live close to there so if i wanted to get some oil from you would i be able to pick it up or would you still have to mail it out

Although Maryville is a legal address for us, we travel extensively. We have been in a different city every week since Sept.

It doesn't save anything and actually costs more as I have to pay to freight it to me or just directly to you.
