Anybody take out their catacylic converter?

I decided to do my own exhaust mod. Worked the baffles around and got a great sound, although it is still not lould. W@hile I had the mufflers off, I noticed the CC built into the headers, so I got to thinking if it would benefit me to drill/punch a hole/knock it out?

Do the aftermarket exhaust systems come with CCs? Will it make mine loulder?

There is no benefit to taking it out - won't make a power difference, nor a sound difference.

I know that with the older open loop EFI bikes ( pre '08 ), removing the cats made a performance and sound improvement! That is well documented. However, with the newer ( '08 and up ) closed loop EFI bikes what, I don't know what difference, if any, it makes. Reportedly, there is a slight loss of torque on the Vision when the cats are removed.
