No need for the VFC III if you unplug the O2 sensors - I fancy the D&D's. I think you will get some decel popping any way you decide to go, just depends.

Between those two options, the looks are different, the price is different and so is the sound. That's a personal choice.
Haven't yet seen a dyno run with the Thunder sticks so, hard to say which will perform better.
Popping is always a problem but Lloydz IAV helps that a lot. So does a good dyno tune.

I could'nt be any happier with the way my D&Ds look and sound....sound just right (for me) around town low and quiet - hit it hard and they roar deep and loud.

I would go with the Thunders! But thats because thats what I have and I think they are sweet. But you are going to need either a flash or a fuel management, unplugging the O2's mainly richens up low rpm and idle and will not run the bike as well as a flash or a tuner when you replace both intake and exhaust.

I agree that fuel management will be needed when replacing air filter and the exhaust.
If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you post the sound of thunder sticks on your bike, thanks.
Also, are they loud all the time or only when you accelerate hard?
It would be nice to hear the sound at idle and as you're driving if that's possible thanks.
Search his other threads. He already posted somewhere.
I thought I heard them once on this forum and did a search for it but now that I know that it was one of his posts, I'll do a search for it again, thanks.
