Did you try these guys: http://www.gearhead.com/1203277.html#/s/POL//1203277/1 ?
Also, try contacting these folks and see if they have it in stock: http://www.speedsupplies.com/parts/polaris-1203277.htm.
Haven't tried either of those yet, I'll call them both in the morning, thanks a bunch!

When i call the parts retailers they tell me their systems show that 1203277 part is discontinued and they can no longer get it. Polaris on the other hand says its not discontinued, but it is on a backorder without an estimated availability date.

i am finding getting parts for these motorcycle is no joy the dealers dont stock anything of if they have to order anything its always backorder.Since there seems to be a problem with these throttle body adapters you would think they would have a good stock of them or fix the problem with them.My dealer didnt even have exhaust gaskets in stock.I understand that service all different kinds of vehicles but they should atleast have some stock.I think exhaust gaskets are a common part that gets changed alot people are always changing their pipes.Good luck on getting that throttle body adapter

Hurray for me! I got the parts and finally found the time to take care of this problem. I spent the better part of the weekend replacing the throttle body adapter. I wasn't in a rush, it seemed intimidating at first, but turned out not to be, probably because I had all the right tools.

One thing for anyone who might have to do this in the future: the manual says you'll pull the throttle body out through the right side of the bike. My arse! There's no way in hell, don't even try. The fuel rail is in the way and it's just too tight. I pulled it out through the back though, only had to unhook the thick wiring harness from the rail to make some extra room. Easy peasy.

The old throttle body adapter looked real rotten out and was cracked where the top cap met the cylinder. Funny thing is, my high idle issue probably had to do with the idle screw adjustment, which I didn't realize these bikes had until I got to working on it. Now Purs like a kitten at 1000 rpms at idle and I'm a happy camper!

Hot dang this thing pulls hard without any vacuum leaks! WOOOOOT!

The bike has 2500 miles now, so I was stunned to see this much carbon and sut build up here. This probably had to do with the vacuum leak and most likely bad gas , since the previous owner didn't ride it much and didn't use fuel stabilizer in the tank.

Squeeky clean one on the left. They both looked like new before i installed the new adapter. No more leaks!
