Flash upgrade guestion

Had flash upgrade to my newish Kingpin recently. Works great, but I can't fugure out "Average Fuel Economy". It just stays on OO all the time. Do you have to set both trip odometers or what. Can someone tell me how to get Aveage Fuel Economy running...I know it has to be something simple, I am overlooking, but no instructions anywhere.

Does your bike have the switch on the front of the left handlebar switch housing? I have a XR and this switch allows you to toggle through screen functions on the speedo. The switch is invisible when sitting on the bike but is easily operated while riding.

I wonder if the flash didn't take properly. I know from being a computer tech, in a previous life, that drivers don't always load the way they are supposed to.
