On this thread, I have a confession to make. I helped write and pass the Affordable Care Act. There, I said it.

We worked hard for Republican support over 21 months of debate and amendment (while Fox told you we were "ramming it down your throats" and accepted 174 Republican amendments in 2 committees. If I could tell you how many meetings I had with CEOs and other business leaders and just told them if they could get one Repub to voice their concern, we'd change it. Alas, they were not interested in good legislation. McConnell is the most powerful in politics today.

But don't BS me with Fox sh-t. I was there, if you want to know what happened, I'll tell you.

I've been told for years by YOUR party that RUSH is the Republican VOICE. Further proof that Dem's are delusional liars!!!!!

You were probably mayor of a small town, and thought you were in DC

You really wanna tell me YOUR version?

8ball, anytime you want the truth, i'll tell you. But if you want someone to feed your fear, stick with rush.

Dumbass.

Hey Guys,

I've been thinking about this for a while now and I think I was wrong to call those who vote for obama scum sucking traitors. This is still America and for the time being all Americans have the God given right to vote for whomever they think will do the best job.

I still believe the way I believe but calling obama voters names like that was wrong of me.

Calling each other names here is wrong too. I am asking for both sides to stop doing it if you can.

In the spirit of motorcycling brotherhood and our love of Victory's; a spirited discussion is good but this name calling has got to stop. It's juvenile and I am as guilty as anyone for doing it.

Nuff said.

Well done BBob. I'm in agreement that we are all good folks who have more in common than not. I like 8ball's tattoos, and think he'd agree with me if he saw what I saw. Lance, I'm not so sure, but we all like to ride and care about freedom.

Let's give each other a break. We can certainly debate policy, but names usually don't help
