I ordered my set too today for my Ness Vision. I already got the HID center light (Victory one), I have H4 HID's (single bulb high/low - yes that's correct) in my 1800 VTX, and will never have a bike without HID's! When driving at night with my HID "driving light" on the Vision, it completely drowns out the normal halogen bulb. What a waste of light that is!
I know without a doubt it's a no brainer and well worth every penny to convert the stock halogens. I'm preaching to the choir here so I'll shut up
Pop, your a hoot !! Hid lights best bang for the buck. Had mine 6 months and love them. All my Harley friends want to ride with me at night. My friend said I took 20 years off his night vision.
Just ordered my 5000 hi/low kit! I drove home last night in the dark and was thinking how dim the lights were - even high did not light up into the woods at all - I live in an area with lots of critters in the woods (foothills of the Sierra, near Lake Tahoe). Having bright lights is a must. I was going to get some riding lights and attach them to the crash bars for night riding. I am hoping this kit will save me that effort - I would rather leave the bike "clean".
Looking forward to getting them - will report on my findings.

Got mine yesterday and installed today. Took about 25 minutes - had a 50/50 chance with the polarity...had to change both, no problem.
For those with XRs all you need to do is take off the wind shield. Next take 4 bolts off the lamp - 2 on top, 2 on the side/bottom. the top plate comes off, you spay the wire harnesses out of the way and you have a clear shot at the bulbs - they come off with half a turn. Hook up the HID harness to the new bulb and do the lower bulb first -find the right spot by going 1/4 turns and feeling for the right fit - it's obvious when it's right and press the bulb in and turn clock wise till seated - repeat for the top bulb. Turn on the key, hit the high beam - if one or both don't light up disconnect the main connection of bulb not lighting and turn 180 degrees reattach and you got light!
Looks very bright in my shop - but it's raining tonight - will have to wait to check during a night ride - looking forward to it!

Just picked up the high and low beam kit from victoryhid.com. It looks great! Crossroad is awesome! He helped me set up my 2008 Hammer S with a 2009 headlight setup. FYI you can make it work even though the lens has a different part number. Thx CR
Unless I misinterpret, victoryhid.com says it is not available for a 2012 XCT. CR?

Just installed mine - 2012 XCT. You only need one HID for the XCT. I like the light. SB can follow-up with particulars on which bikes he can supply the bulbs for if he wants.

Low beam is not available for 2012 XCT, because the 2012 XCT came with HID low beam stock. So, for the 2012 XCT, only the high beam HID is available.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
