I have been thinking about this upgrade for a while now but didn't totally understand what was involved. I read all 13 pages from the HID conversion thread and the first 27 pages from this thread. Cross Roads, you are a very stand up guy with what sounds like a great product at a great price. As soon as I can decide whether to get a high/low kit or just the low beam kit, I will be purchasing a kit for my '07 Ness Jackpot very soon.
Cross Roads, I know that I would appreciate the high beam HID but just don't know how quickly I would ruin the high beam bulb or ballast by using the stock PTP button or the high beam itself for short periods of time. Any thoughts?
Low beam is not available for 2012 XCT, because the 2012 XCT came with HID low beam stock. So, for the 2012 XCT, only the high beam HID is available.
I think you have that backwards. The high beam is HID stock.

I have the F2P on my bike, and no issues. For further peace of mine, you have a lifetime warranty on the kit.

No, I have it right. What makes you think I have it backwards?

My high beam is way more significant than the low. I'm sure I read it somewhere too.
I'd like my low beam to be like my high.

Yes, once in a while, someone makes this statement.
The high beam is only higher because on your year/model, both bulbs are on when high beam is on. That means the low beam (HID) plus the high beam (halogen) are both on during high beam, and only the low beam bulb (HID) is on during low beam mode.

My low beam is very similar to a normal automotive low beam. My high beam produces a huge round lighted area.

You're describing your beams focus, which is normal - low beam focused on a closer light pattern, and high beam adds the wider spread pattern. However, this has nothing to do with the light intensity of the bulb.

Funny to me that a guy selling HID's has the bulb unit measure of color temperature wrong. It is Kelvin, not Kalvin as he lists on his site. I have purchased many HID kits and you can but a kit for a car with two bulbs with slim ballasts for under $40 shipped. I have had great luck with the Xentec brand. The best color temperatures, the ones that provide the most light are 4300K and 5000K. The higher in temperature you get the more the lighting degrades. It may look cool with the purple or blue hue but it doesn't provide as much light. Most cars that come equipped with HID's are 4300k or 5000k. You could buy two car kits on EBAY and have two spare bulbs and ballasts for less than what you pay the VictoryHID guy. The are also relatively simple to install. Everyone is trying to make a buck but in this economy everyone is also trying to save a buck.
Are you really going there dude????
I have these on my Christmas wishlist, since I'm not sure what all mods I want on my Hammer yet. Boy do I hope the wife does a good job shopping for me. And i hope Crossroads ends up with some of our money.
Do you accept tips?

In the long run it would be cheaper to buy a Vic, and the kit our man Crossroads is selling.
Now that's funny!!!
Got my 6000 high/low kit in the mail yesterday (thanks CrossRoads) and now I have a big decision to make. Do I mothball the kit until the snow melts or do I shovel a path to the garage, turn on the heat, and get to it?
