Of course opinions vary on this, but I found it pleasurable to "drive" my trike through the twisties. Trikes do not give you the lean in curves and a lot of people don't like that. I found once I learned to drive the trike, it was a damned fun ride. Drove mine to Americade and Sturgis and back when I lived in WV. No trouble at all and had a great time. One other thing, I would recommend you not/not go with a solid axle trike. JMHO. Photo of my Wing - CSC Trike.

The trike subject is extremely subjective in my experience.
It certainly isn't for everyone. My first Harley was a chopped out 1958 45 ci Flathead Harley that started out as a meter maid bike. Of course that was long before women actually rode them.
I can not believe I never got pics of that bike to save because it was a defining moment in my biking life.
Anyway, IMHO, trikes can be a lot of fun if they are set up right and a big fat zero if they aren't.
Most of the time a skilled mechanic who routinely takes a 2 wheeler and turns it into a 3 wheeler does the work so most of the mistakes that can be made have already been made by the time a customer approaches the mechanic to do the job.
If it is a dedicated trike shop then anyone should be rest assured the shop will do a good job. That doesn't mean it will be a good job with 100% certainty but the chances are really good they will do a quality job vs a shade tree mechanic; like myself for instance.
Just sayin'....
