Why can't I post in the general forums

Is there any chance that someone can put in a sticky that gives the minimum posts needed so that a noobe...such as myself...doesn't have to search through the forums to get this info? IE- the 2 posts needed to post in other areas.

Is there a minimum number of posts to participate in the Classifieds? Or do you have to have a premium membership?
