Which is exactly what I had before. I would say the Freedom pipes would not show any gains unless you do camshafts based on these numbers where the overall better exhaust flow would matter. This is all conjecture and guessing until someone does it. Which I am now looking into. Anyone want to donate?

I called Freedom Performance today to see what they had to say and point them to this forum and thread. The customer service rep was going to talk to the engineers, she seemed very surprised by our results. I have no idea if that will change anything for us but at least it was something. Will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

Exactly what I am hoping for. I know what I made with the last mods was a net of 0 hp. I am interested to see if I see better than average gains with the freer breathing exhaust or if I see average hp/tq increases.

I've always heard that a 2 into 1 or a 2-2 setup with a crossover is a better pipe then 2 individual, the cylinders help each other that way.

Hate to be the one but...My guess is that you will see lower then average torque increase, and roughly the same HP increase as others with cams

No worries. Based on the original numbers and modifications I would not be surprised by that at all.

go ahead and get the timing gear and advance to 4 degrees to help with low end torque

Finally got the cams installed and a dyno run done. +14hp with +3 tq Not surprised by the low torque increase with a 2 into 2 set up. Very pleased with the HP gain per dollar spent.
