I'm an old fart and don't have an issue with my wrists. I do use the cruise control on trips and I do have a throttle rocker installed. OR... maybe I'm O. K. because of all the wrist exercises I did as a teenager?

I think we all did frequent and vigorous wrist exercises as teenagers. Maybe I wore mine out.

I looked in the dictionary for a definition, perhaps an age range for old fart. Can't find it, but I do acknowledge that my thumb knuckles are seizing up after riding the cross bikes for three years now. And yes, I've noticed some aggravation of the wrists. I am 6 ft tall. Maybe it's time to,explore,alternate handlebars. I am just not sure I want apes.......

Got my Ness modular apes half on tonight. I Should be done tomorrow. Looking forward to painless riding.

I purchased the iso grip throttle boss for both sides.. and they seem to help my hands.. Im a 53 year old heavy equip mechanic and my hands have worked hard over the years and feel like it..I also installed 2 inch pull back bars too.

I don't like the way the throttle rolls around under my hand using the electronic cruise control and if I have a firm grip on the throttle; it kicks out. So I installed the SAC grips with cruise control, shortly after getting the bike, which adds friction to the throttle. I usually add enough friction so it stays put but allows me to change throttle position. I find this works much better when riding in traffic on the highway or freeway. I can always use the electronic cruise if I want but I rarely do; even on long stretches of the super slab.
