Those are the stock wheels that have been chromed. Sure makes a difference doesn't it! If you go that route; make sure you chrome the pulley too. It shows up more than the rear wheel.

I think it was $700 to do all 3 which is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying 2 wheels and a chrome pulley. Like $2k+ less.

Yeah. Will does some amazing work for sure. The guy is totally anal about perfection and it shows in his work and even the work he farms out because he won't let anything leave his shop without his stamp of approval.

Big Blue gets closer to being done every year. It usually takes me 3-5 years to get a bike to where I want to keep it if it's a keeper to start with. This XC is definitely a keeper. I've had her for about 2.5 years now so it's getting close.

Those new badges should look good with your color scheme! What material is the black section of those floorboards made out of? Are they slippery when wet?

Your pics really got my heart racing BBob, especially those great-looking boards. And here I thought I was done stockpiling new stuff for spring install - I gotta stop reading these forums.
Just wondering - are your boards the black finish or the chrome finish, and were they a pretty straight forward replacement for the stocks?

Oh yeah, they are the contrast cut, not the straight chrome ones.

Very simple install. Straighten cotter pin, remove, remove shaft holding board on, reverse order when installing but leave off the springs.

I know what you mean. It can get expensive really fast with all the cool stuff available these days. Wasn't always that way with the X bikes but sure is now.

It's an L bracket bolted to the brake arm and the Kury pad bolted to the L bracket. I guy on another forum made a few a couple years ago and I snagged one.
