Here's to you. Been a long pull since I got whacked last but I haven't forgot and I feel you.
The sofa tried to drive me crazy and time just about stopped while I was healing but you do the math. Couch time beats hell out of a bunch of the alternatives.
Miracles done regularly like moving muscles around from one zip code to the other. Quite a day and age.
Keep your bearings CFB. This too will pass.

I got a Cross Country Tour. It's a 2012. It's red. I done some stuff to it and will do some other stuff, but there's a bunch of stuff I don't care to do.
I know some stuff but there's a bunch of stuff I don't know. There's a mess of stuff I don't want to know but gratefully I have forgotten a lot of that.

Glad to see you're mending. I've been following all along and I think it's been an incredible journey for you. Glad you're going to come out mostly alright in the end. What a story you'll have to tell when it's all over. Hope to see you back on both feet one day in the future and eventually on two wheels again. Best of luck to you.

Orthopedic surgeon has given me the green light to start load bearing on my leg! My heel bone is mended, and they gave me an ultrasonic bone healer thingy which is to help the gaps in my tibia to fill in. Next Tuesday I see my micro vascular surgeon, and hopefully he will say I can start putting weight on my heel! Good stuff... I'm on the way

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

+1. So glad to hear this good news. So glad you didn't lose your foot. Losing that would have been forever while this relatively short period of time will be behind you before you know it.
Who knows... maybe in time you will feel differently about getting another bike or possibly using it more for weekend rides rather than a daily rider.
Thanks for keeping us posted on your good progress.
