Before you get an a$$ chewing here, do a quick search, there are many threads on this, some will say use only vic oil, some will say rotella, and so on. On my next change I plan to switch to the rotella T6, and use a wix filter, just need to search and see which number it is again.
Honestly, I feel bad that I don't give my local dealer (a great bunch of people) much business. I try to buy oil filters, drain plug crush washers, brake pads... any general maintenance stuff... from there. It might be a couple of extra bucks but it's a little support for them I quess.
I am on several car/motorcycle forums and it seems like the "oil" question comes up every other day. Just buy the Vic oil or equivilant and Vic oil filter or anther brand, change it, and go riding.

My dealer is a Suzuki dealer as well. I buy the Suzuki 20-50 Syn blend ($4.50/qt) and a Vic filter. Gives them a little business and works very well also. 'Bout any oil will work fine IMHO. Just change it every 3-4k.
Is this the filter that is the napa gold one made by wix? For me I try to go to the dealer at times, my dealer isn't always the best to deal with though, and the vic oil being as spendy as it is, I can't see buying it if I can use something that is half the price like the rotella.
