If the Republicans excepted his offer, it would undo $800 billion of it and bring in more revenue. All of that would lower the deficit. If your core principal involves lowering the deficit, then you should love Obama.

If you think Obama's voodoo will do anything to fix this economy then his voodoo has worked on you... ANY reduction in ANYTHING is simply eaten up with increased spending.
If you want to lower our debt Obama ain't the guy. We know that taxes won't do it, with the MASSIVE debt the only fix is to STOP SPENDING and CUT this massive fed. gov't., along with incentives to business to grow the private sector.
ObamaCare alone will prevent any meaningful improvement in the economy, just the opposite. That's the first massive gov't program that needs to be cut.

Did we have one of these threads going about Bush's spending while he was President? I don't recall that, I certainly DID complain about Bush's spending... as did all the conservative folks on TV and radio that I heard at the time... conservatives don't fall in love with their President's the way you liberals do with yours...

Actually I voted for Reagan Both times. He did raise taxes. He did spend but he got a lot accomplished. I voted for Clinton both times. Had your party put someone of quality I may have voted Republican this time bit that doof Romney would have been Bush part III and we all know how bad Bushs I and II were.
