Good question.
I think the reason the one on the right is clear looking is to give the effect of coming out of the dark mine. If you'll notice the headlight is kinda 50/50.
Coming from a family of coal miners I think the shirt is pretty cool. Too bad coal mining is not doing good right now, can't be good for motorcycle sales in your neck of the woods.
