Me too. This is the longest I've gone without riding since I bought her.

I may not even be able to get out of my dirt road for a few days after it stops. It is bad mud right now.

I'm still in the process of re-establishing my thresholds with all the wind protection the CCT provides. Last night I was logging some more break in miles and at 41 degrees I wasn't very uncomfortable and I was only wearing moderate weight gloves and jacket along with chaps. Of course the hand warmers were on but not the seat. I would not venture out on my previous bikes at that temperature even thought I had gear that would keep me warm. Just too bulky and deprived me of the ability to "feel" the bike. More like I was just hanging on and hoping I'd not have to quickly react to anything. I'm estimating this bike will add about 15 degrees of comfort in that at around 35 degrees I would be about as comfortable as I would have been at 50 degrees on my Street Glide. But since the morning lows have been in the teens, sometimes lower, there's not been much riding to work.

Having gravel is lucky? I have a saying: Gravel is not a road surface. It's a road HAZARD.

I guess you have more nerve than I have.

Winter riding gear doesn't have to be bulky. T-shirts and shorts are not appropriate, but I'm comfortable in the upper twenties with a plain leather motorcycle jacket and an electric liner jacket, with boots, heated gloves, jeans, thin wool scarf and long undies. It seems like a lot, now that I look at what I've written, but it's not bulky.
