Yep, lovin' it so far, MonsterMash. I got mine at SSR Powersports in Castle Creek. It was the last 2012XC they had so they were willing to deal, plus the Red Tag Event made it even better. Are you on a XC? If so, what have you done with windshield and lowers? That's top on my list of things to tweak. Too much air over the stock windshield...for me. Anyway, my wife and I ride two-up a lot and we head up your way often. Perhaps we'll pass one day.
Congrats on the purchase. I'm supposed to get mine back today with all the accessories installed that I purchased with the bike. Can't wait to see how the Ness Apes, exhaust, intake, and programmer improve the XC.
Hello from Syracuse NY. I ride down around your neck of the woods often on my xc.
I use a + 4 Cee Bailey screen and it works well with my soft lowers. I have never been to the Vic shop in Castle Creek. Sounds like they gave you a deal.
congradulations and enjoy.
Jack
Nice to see that the XC is well-represented in upstate NY. jacktrash, I'll keep my eye out for you when I'm up your way. Tell me, do you have the Cee Bailey with or without the cut-out at the bottom? And how about the vent? I guess it would help, too, to know how tall you are. Thanks for the input. There are SO many choices when dealing with the buffeting issue that I'm trying to do it right the first time.
The vent was not available when I got my CB +4. I have the early model. I'm5'11" but short bodied. I can see over the top if I sit up straight, but how many .of us really have good posture
