What is the difference in a 2007 hammer s compared to a hammer premium?

Lots of chrome mainly.

The main difference is that the Premium has billet wheels, that no other Hammer model has.
I also recal that the handle bars in 2007 were based on a regular/base Hammer on the Premium, while the Hammer S bars are pulled back 2inches.
Finding a used Premium is like a needle in a hay stack. GL!

I found my 2007 Hammer S still new at a dealer about three weeks ago. When I went in to sign the papers they also had a 2007 Hammer premium that has never even had a battery in it. I just told the salesman today that I would take it also. I am not really worried about resale, and I will get two Hammers for a little more than the price of one 2012 S. I really like the S (see avatar). I am new to street bikes (motocross is what I love but it is starting to hurt me - age 43).

Wow!
That's a heck of a collection you'll have there!
In fact, i know a forum member with two nice Hammers. (it's not me)
How much are you getting the Premium for, if you don't mind me asking? It's fine if you'd rather not say, just curious.

Out the door for $12k on both. I thought we might get premium cheaper but, I gave in. I know the dealer took a beating after 6 years. hammer S list was$20499 with pipes added ,premium was $19400. By the time you add in taxes, shipping, and paperwork fees, I am close to half for each bike. I feel lucky.

So you mean Hammer S wheels cost $2500?! I wonder what makes them "performance"? Are they lighter or something? Or is it just the look?
