Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
I really like how those bars look on the JP. The thing is, those bars are a bit gaudy, and since the front wheel is huge on the JP the bars look just right. But I wonder if they might look too gaudy on the hammer, since the front wheel is smaller.
Hey man , look down a couple threads on the hammer section main page here . There is a memeber "BlackedOutHammer'' with a thread "PICS of my hammer lowered 1.5 inches" he has the Ness fly bars .
eh... i dont know how i feel about them, they look ok, but doesnt make me feel *tingly* enough to get them. Is it just me or do they seem just a bit out of character for the bike....? They brobably are pretty darn comfy. Maybe ill just install the chrome jp bars for now.
Nope , not into them either . Being the Hammer in my personal opinion should be more of a "drag" style bar . The stockers feel flimsy as shit and with the look a like "plastic" chrome bar ends make them even worse . Weighted bar ends and a set of drag bars is what i"m looking for ...

Do you mean handling feels sloppy with the stock bars? Or just the grips are flimsy the way they are made? I have the factory drag v bars right now and will be swapoing them for ones like you have. I need a little more pullback so i can sit more upstraight. They came off a 07 jackpot and are chrome.
The best way to describe it is they feel like they flex alot . To give the bars a little credit they are rubber mounted at the triple tree which is made for comfort but gives off a feeling of flex, also if they had weighted bar ends instead of the extremely cheap plastic bar ends that would help with feel as well . I guess they just lack the feedback i'm used to coming from sportbikes and riding dirt for as long as I can remember ...

Interesting.... the factory drag bars feel pretty solid, i just dont feel like i have very good control of the bike. Just seems hard to control the lean with that beast of a rear tire when you're reaching for the bars and your weight is forward. Just feels like if not so much of my weight was in the front and more to the back, icould maybe steer it better. I always thought control might have been the reason why they discontiued the drag v bars.
I should have time to install the jp bars tomorrow, so ill find out soon.
