Check Engine light????

I posted this in the tech section, but this looks like it gets more traffic. I have the digital speedo from Victory and tonight the E started coming on after I've had the bike running for a few minutes. Normaly only comes on for a few seconds when I turn the thumb switch to on. It went away, but then came back. Is this a check engine light like on a car? I'm a bit concerned because I just got it back from the 15K service about 300 miles ago.

Chk Eng is much like the one in your car, but not quite as sensative. Scroll your info around to where it displays charging, and see what it says. Also check your battery terminals for being tight. That is what I see 90% of the time.

The other thing you can do at home is to reset your throttle min-max points by.....

Key on switch on engine off
Slow 5 count roll the throttle to wide open
Hold wide open for another slow 5 count
Let throttle snap shut
Cycle kill switch
Start bike
