Default do you have to cut the frame to fit a Bassani 2 into 1?

I would like to fit a bassani 2 into 1 and an S & S air box BUT i dont like the idea of cutting any frame....Can some one enlighten me as to why / which and how much of the frame needs removing. Also is there any other 2 into 1's that DONT need frame mods to fit?
Cheers Mark
