Default Vision 8-Ball - Adding a stereo

Just purchased a 2011 Vision 8-ball ... picking it up in a week or two (love the slammed and blacked out look) ... i am adding a stereo prior to taking delivery (man needs his tunes)... and read some negative reviews of the Vision stereo in general... i wasn't sure if these were issues related to early model Visions (08's) ... or if Victory had changed any of the components or fixed any of the bugs.... i know Hawg-wired makes speakers for the Victory.. and i know i can get a powered antenna (dealer strongly recommends) ... can anyone guide me in terms of what i should do from the beginning - to put my best foot forward in terms of having a good quality stereo .. with good reception... or anything you may have done to improve the performance of your own radios... it is easier for me to do it now... rather than use stock Victory parts.. and have to go back and change it later... any help would be appreciated...

This link shows you what I did, and no complaints. This is just an option.

I added my own amp, speakers, and input source. Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the link. A V8ball is certainly an option for me as they seem to be $10,000 less than the regular vision. I really want music too. Also the cruise is attractive.

I am going to add the Breakaway Cruise Control (see link). I have already bought it, but I have not had time to put it on. It is a mechanical cruise and not an electronic cruise, but for me, that is fine. I even got mine in black.
