So, after my ride on Sunday, I noticed that it appears there's a missing piece on the front of the engine case near the primary. It's too clean not to be missing something. I think it's just probably a clip that screws into the block and holds the wiring that goes into the front of the primary. Can anyone check their bike and let me know what's missing? (also, post a picture if possible.) I've got a 2013 Boardwalk. Here's a few pictures. Its the very clean piece of metal with the screw hole.
previous posts on this is the assembly plant carries the motor down the line with these location set points. that's all it is not to worry, you can take a black permanent marker to color the silver in. thumb upthumb up
Nothing is missing. The same engine is used in every Victory so there are some mounts that are not used on one model or another. That is where the Cross Bikes ground the battery. I agree that there should be a blank off plate and bolt put on to cover it up though.
