Default Need road trip advice Upper Minnesota

In July I am planning a road trip to upper Minnesota/Lower part of Ontario. I am planning on camping for 3 days with my bike and need some help figuring out roads to ride both in the US and Canada. Looking at camping at one of the parks, either the George Washington State Forest, Qubec Provincial Area or one other state park in the area.

I may not stay at one campsite but will be in the area for 3 days so any advice you can give would be great.

Thank you

What part of MN are you riding though ? I like traveling the North Shore of Superior in MN and altho not an expert I can help you out, I try to get up there once a year. I live in Southern MN. The State Park website for MN just crashed, they are clean altho I would make reservations along the North Shore, they are busy. PM me if you need more info. I know nothing once you get north of MN into Canada. Check the Grandma's Marathon and avoid those dates if you have a choice.

I know little of the Quetico Provincial Park its self but its a great scenic area. One of my favorite roads up there to ride is number 1 from Ely to Finland and the North Shore and up to Grand Marais. We took that #1 twisty road on about four trips last year.

Bring your pass port and when the border ask where you came from don't say back there. Tell them you came from minnesota USA. Canada really looks for speeders and if you have had a DUI in the past no get in. All so no guns or drugs.
Do a google search there are some nice places up north. Like the man said up around Lake Superior is very pretty with plenty of places to camp. A few light houses to see and some tourist traps. Don't plan on swimming water is still cold.
Rain gear and heavy jacket. In Canada plan on getting gas when your at a half a tank. I road the shoulder for five miles at 10mph cause I thought the next town would have gas. No they didn't.
