What an interesting concept, there must be many bikes that can be built that way, especially HDs.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."

Did you watch the vid long enough to catch the total price?? My teeth almost dropped out.....$45,000!!!! not including the labor of 4 or 5 ace BMW mechanics. I'll stick to getting mine off the showroom floor, thanks.

Any bike can be built that way. Hell I've got a 12 year old aprilia in my basement that I've been building the same way. Granted I bought my parts second hand and not new from the catalog but if I had been willing to spend about 40k instead of 1800 on the project I could have gone all new. The only thing I did not build from spare parts was the motor, I bought a complete used one (though it will be getting torn down and rebuilt next year with some fancier go fast bits)
