Default Yes! I remember 9/11

I was at work and we just happened to have a tv that we used for education purposes. Someone came by and told us about the plane hitting first building. We turned on the tv and watched the continuing tragedy play out. I even got to see the 2nd plane strike trade tower and hear the hesitation from the news anchor trying to make sense of what he just witnessed as well.

A lot has taken place since then and there is still nothing we can do to prevent another similar event.

Wait! We can let Iran off the hook and give them the freedom to play with nuke material.

A day of reckoning is coming for the things our nation has done and left undone. The only stinking power Dill has is to vote. Period! Say I were to quit my job, leave family, join forces to fight the evil ISIS and get killed, what difference have I made.

No! The difference that I can make is to vote with the greatest muster I can gather, PRAY, stand up for my beliefs and the greatness that I have always hoped and expected America could be.

Yes! I remember 9/11.

I've always had a lot of what ifs following the attack.

The biggest... what if we had done nothing? What if we'd done something other than the course we took? What if that had turned out badly?

We can't really do the what ifs because whats done is done. I sincerely believed that some of our decisions over seas have been justified and have been beneficial to many souls. Even though, our best intentions made available to other countries are still not validated not may never be appreciated. The dollars that we have invested in building infrastructure and giving support always seems to blow up in our face. How very sad!

Just Great!

AS THE PENTAGON EYES a Russian military build-up in Syria and ISIS forces overrun a Syrian airbase stocked with Russian MiGs (top) Western intelligence sources tell Fox News that the escalated Russian presence began just days after a secret Moscow meeting in late July between Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani Iran's chief exporter of terror and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

I was on a flight when the first plane hit. Connecting in DFW. Got off the plane, overheard something on the airport TV, but really had to pee. Ran to the restroom, came out and kept hearing something on the TVs. I got on the train to go between terminals and called my wife, back home. I asked her what was going on, she said she had no idea, she was watching Teletubbies, my daughter was obsessed. Told her to turn the channel and fill me in. I later realized what was happening. All of the local news crews seemed to be hanging out at airports. I poked my head in the side door of a news van and was able to watch news feeds from 8 different channels in the back of a news van. Saw the second plane hit. Freaking out, 1500 miles from home and MY COUNTRY is under attack. Cell service is tied up, so I can't really get in touch with my wife and daughter. Since all planes were grounded, spent the next 5-6 hours helping elderly people and foreigners get on shuttle buses to get to a hotel or rental car facility.

I, too, will never forget.
