Damn that's a crap load of snow, but can we just call it a blizzard and not go with the stupid naming of storms by the weather channel.

Third day without power from CLP. Running portable generator to heat house and water. At least I have that.

My best to everyone else still dealing with the snow storm.

Many roads are still not plowed or blocked. Now there is a freezing rain which has slicked the passable roads up.
This has been quite a blizzard!!

I grew up in Chicago, 67 and 79 same type of snow. We plowed, shoveled and we missed one or two days of school. Now we name the storms and make it out like its a natural disaster. The Weather Channel makes snow of 4 inches or more seem like the world is going to end.

BTW sorry you guys got so much but Mother Nature is pissed about something.

Blame it on me

The weather pattern is changing and we had a big drought this summer and our snow total for the year is down by 30 inches.
I think the hole country is in for some hard times weather wise.
At least the ground hog said spring is coming sooner
