MD....my point exactly. What is available today that would take that kind of a licking and keep on ticking? Adding an Otter Box or the like, will add unwanted bulk, where I'm concerned. I guess I am just too last century or a Luddite or both.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."

My phone. I am telling you my phone with case is not very thick. Probably about as thick as that tablet but it is longer and taller than your flip phone. It fits in my front or back pocket very easily

But its no longer available, except on the used market and don't trust used phones.

Holy shite MD, that's a $530 phone! No phone is worth that much to me. I'm buying my flip new for $75 + free shipping and I stay off of contract with Sprint. I could have bought refurbed ones for $25, but you know what I think of used phones. Remember, you're talking to your grandpa here. Mine are not contemporary values. Mine were forged in the Great Depression and WWII.

I didn't think you were going to buy it, I was just showing you your options. BTW...I've gotten my use out of that S5 Active...it's what kept me in touch with you guys as I lay in that hospital bed! I've had it for over 30 months now....that equates to less than $20 a month to own the phone. The longer I own it, the more it pays for itself! They were banking on me swapping it out for a newer model but I didn't. It's a phone, computer, calendar, camera, photo gallery, and anything else I may need. With my active lifestyle, it's come in handy and works for me. I didn't expect you to be interested, just showing you what is out there. Now you can make an informed decision, which you have! My job here is done...lol
