We got a couple inches of snow last night which is mostly melted away already. Supposed to get colder lows and possibly 5" of snow later in the week. That's unheard of in these parts. I guess time will tell if the forecast is true.

It snowed in Las Vegas last night and they are talking about snow on Thursday when I'll be driving back to SoCal. I hope it holds off until the evening. They don't know how to drive in the wet out here so you can imagine what it's like when you get even a dusting of snow.

Current Stable: 2014 XC, Honda PCX 150, 125 SYM Havana.

Born in the deepest jungles of India, I was raised by a friendly bear, until I was kidnapped by a pack of unruly baboons who taught me the finer points of swing jazz, all the while being stalked by an incompetent python and an evil but mis-understood tiger... Ummm, wait a minute, that's the Jungle book, no I was raised just outside of St. Louis, But...in the deepest jungles of a middle class neighborhood .

We are supposed to get snow then but it looks like Vegas will just get rain that day. Interesting because it's only 1.5 hours to the North of us but I think it's at a lower elevation. Yeah; Vegas is at 1800-2300 elev and where I'm at it's 3300 elev. That's enough to make the difference.

We haven't got any snow here today. But they are still giving us a 40% chance and predicting a high of 29 degrees.

First light yesterday morning. By 10 am it was mostly gone. Thursday and Friday might be a different story. For those up north who live with this white stuff much of the Winter and laugh at us for making this a big deal, I agree, it is kinda silly but then we do live in the Southwest at elevations it doesn't happen often so for us it's an event that doesn't happen every year. In fact the last time was over 4 years ago. See second picture below.

With talk of electric cars and bikes and how to charge them if everyone gets one; this might be the answer to that big question. A fusion machine in every home generating its own power. Especially if they can be made to be affordable. Imagine no more gas and electric bills! Game changer. I still want gasoline and diesel to be available though just so we can continue to ride and drive muscle cars and bikes.

Teen builds working nuclear fusion reactor in Memphis home

This is exactly the kind of jump in technology we need to travel the stars and live off the grid on earth independently and indefinitely.
