Got a question for you guys. I hadn't heard of this stuff before someone mentioned it on a 4runner forum I've been reading since I bought a 2001. Think it would do our Victory's any good? Clean out the cats of any junk built up maybe and clean off the O2 sensors?

Cataclean 120007 Complete Engine, Fuel and Exhaust System Cleaner, 473 Milliliter

It sounds a bit like Seafoam on steroids.

Or maybe not. Hmmm.....

One last edit. This guy claims cleaning the cats will not work. Is he right? You decide.

That Cataclean got mixed reviews, for what that's worth.

Funny how one thing leads to another; next thing ya know I've gone down the rabbit hole to find more and more info to make one ponder.

My takeaway, after crawling out of said rabbit hole, is if the cat is just a little gummed up then these products in the tank might help for a while. Maybe enough to get it through an emissions test which is not something I need to worry about where I'm at.

I also don't have a problem with the cats on any of my vehicles right now so this was an exercise in things that make you go hmmmmm....

My initial thought was as a preventative but I guess there really isn't much one can really do about a damaged or worn out cat if the holes are plugged by something other than carbon build up.

Used an entire jug in my wife's car and...….nothing.
With her car the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter are all in one so it's big $$$$ to replace. First I replaced both o2 sensors....nothing.
The "check engine" light will come on for a week then go out for months then come back on. When I pull the codes it says it's the rear o2.

Want a 180 hp factory stock cruiser?
Want to spend a ton of money to get it?

Then the Triumph 2.5L (2500cc) Rocket III TFC is for you! If I were a rich SOB like some of you swinging, um, well, you get the idea; I'd have one of these for 'those days' when you just gotta feel the power. At just $29k you too can have one of these; if you can find one. Only 750 of these beauties will be available worldwide, with 225 units slated for North America.

Note: This bike info was released to the public back in May but they have revised the hp numbers from 168 to 180. Certainly noteworthy.
