Good for you Broggy! Now is still a good time for Americans to travel to certain countries.

That photo gallery brought back a flood of memories good and bad. In 2000, Pretty Wife and I joined Germans motoradding in the Alps country of southern Germany, France, Austria and Italy. Saw way too much to even begin to list here. Was there a month and it was fantastic. That's the good memories.
The bad memories come from the part of our trip to Poland 3 years ago, where we visited Auschwitz. Not a day goes by that doesn't haunt me still. What a horrible place.
Other than Dachau, it appears you had a great time exploring and eating. Tschuss!

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."
2017 Spyder F3 Limited - keeps this old guy in the wind and riding with friends.
Cure that ugly stand up license plate with the cheapest and best laydown bracket. Click this:

You and the waiter behind you kinda look alike so you definitely fit in.

I was going to say you just missed Octoberfest but then...

Nice BMW!

Friend or relative?

Germany really is a beautiful country. The first thing that struck me when I went one October was how green it was everywhere.

From very old...

To very modern....

The fella in the pictures with me is my dad. He smiled more in the 2 weeks overseas than he has in the last 2 years. It was his lifelong dream to visit Neuschwanstein Castle and it finally became a reality.

My dad's ex-boss' son was running in the Berlin marathon; that's the reason we went in the first place. Then we just made a vacation out of it.

People ask me what it was like. I tell them that as soon as you get out of the city, it's like living inside of a postcard.

No question; BMW is to Germany what Harley Davidson is to the USA.

The good, the bad, and the UGLY!

Looks like you had a good "time".

Yep, bought an authentic cuckoo clock. Fully mechanical, cuckoos and the figure chops wood. I should receive it in about a week
