Default Screw gun control - ban pressure cookers

Any idiot can walk into any dollar store and leave with a semi-automatic pressure canner with no controls at all. We know from events in Boston that these can only be used to kill. Criminals, street gangs, terrorists etc are using these as the new weapon of choice. Without new laws we are all screwed. Call your senator today.

How is it that a 12 year old can get a motorcycle and join this forum and bring his friends along?

Don't need a motorcycle to join the forum. JS

Possibly because they have a purpose other than slaughtering your fellow human beings i.e. cooking?

But fear not, your dream may become reality. I know I've had to submit to a background check to get a box of Sudafed every spring lately.

Good point. The mods should not allow 12 year olds to join and post

What about knives? They should be banned too. Just over a week ago some nutt job ran around and stabbed 14 people. You think he did it to make a point? It's not the weapon...it's the people.

Guns have other purposes besides just slaughtering fellow humans as well.

I believe that the OP's point is that, if someone wants to cause mass casualties, they will find a way - gun or no gun. So, banning certain types of guns or regulating magazine capacity is not going to do anything other than make it hard for honest and sane gun enthusiasts. The public doesnt see it that way though - they just call for a ban on the offending instrument that was used. To show how ridiculous that is, I agree that we should open dialog on banning/regulating the purchase of pressure cookers. Why is that a childish argument to make?

2003 Vegas - straight pipes, Big Sucker air filter kit, black powder coated everything - foot controls, handlebars, clutch and brake housing, fork lowers, luggage rack, wheels, digital speedo with powder coated housing. Relocated key switch, red plug wires. Mustang solo seat. LED ring blinkers in front. Black DEI pipe wrap.
