An awesome moment in the war on terror. Hopefully this will bring some comfort to all the family and friends of those who lost their lives in this war and 911 attack.

I joined the Marine Corps in 1995 and left in 2001 due to an injury. After September 11, I had the itch to go back and in 2004 I joined the Army, been in ever since. I have been in the Intelligence field since the Marine Corps and Bin Laden has been a target since the Africa embassy bombings in 1997 (anyone remember those?). I cannot describe the relief and pride I am feeling that we finally caught up to him and gave him what he richly deserved. To all my fellow servicemen and Vets out there, thank you. The war isnt over by any means, but we just won a major victory.

Is he dead? Last I heard he was killed a couple of years ago. Now he's dead again?

I was in the Army Special Forces and unfortunately I know that our government is not honest.

Confirmation of bin laden's death is a great news but I'm with diamond. We haven't heard anything from this guy for years and all of a sudden they found him andhe is dead?
This guy used love making those videos and press has no footage of anything less then 10 years old. They keep repeating the same three footage over and over on the news.
Again it's a great news but I think he was dead long time ago.

Osama is now a GOOD Muslin. I hope those 72 Virginians are giving him a lot of trouble for all the trouble he's caused us. I love the burial at sea...that way there's no grave to be honored by his followers.

In 2002, Henry Kissinger's aid stated in several interviews that Osama is dead and on Ice. It is funny that this comes out when Obama's approval rating is rock bottom, economy is in worse shape than in the great depression, unemployment high, gas prices rising, food prices out of control! He needed something... I am retired Army and served in special ops too (Ranger). I don't believe anything coming out of this administration, be critical and skeptical on this Socialist!
