Default Indians, Piper Cubs and Roadkill

There's a webcast on YouTube called Roadkill. It's Dave Freiburger from Hot Rod magazine and his accomplice in crime Jim Finnegan. They live and breath old skool hot rodding in all it's legal and somewhat less than legal glory. I like the guys on Top Gear, the English original, not the crappy imitation we co-opted. Roadkill is a real American answer to Top Gear. I watch these guys and envy them living the life. The dif between them and the brits is these guys are not right in the head. They have no staff or story boarding. They start with some hacked up jalopy and a poorly thought out plan for making it run or just some goofy notion for a broadcast that probably sounded good three quarters of the way through the 30 pack, turn on the camera and hijinks ensue.

Anyway they post a new vid once a month and I figure I was due for a new webisode. Lit up the pooter and clicked on my Motortrend subscription on YouTube and this cme up. Not a Roadkill expose but worth linking to here. Maybe this should have been in the Indian threads but Roadkill is what got me going.

We can't help it
We just keep moving
It's been that way since long ago
Since the stone age chasing the great herds
We mostly go where we have to go

Thanks for the link Pop! If I hadn't just got the Victory I'd have to think very hard about the new Chieftain.

Never flown a Cub... but lots of time in Helicopters and some in small Cessna. Tons of fun!

Ride Safe!

Didja notice he was wearing a KLIM jacket? That's a Polaris company.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."

The guy in the vid is Marc Cook. He's an editor at Motorcyclist magazine. Surely he has swag from everyone.

In my next life I'm going to be a moto mag editor.
