Default Remembering what really matters...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=923jxZY2NPI

Our lives are fleeting.

Those we love can be gone in a moment.

This entire planet could be gone in a moment.

It is right and natural to be concerned about this moment in time, including the often trivial and transient aspects of politics and leaders, but we should not forget these moments are gone in a blink of the eye, and that we should strive to embrace each moment, each sunrise, each heartbeat... for it, and we, shall pass.

I enjoyed the little motorcycle ride I just returned from, where my biggest concerns were slowing down to look at a few dozen wild turkeys, and relaxing to the gentle rumble of the engine, and nothing else mattered.

2012 Victory Cross Roads
2003 BMW R1150R
1978 BMW R75/7

1974 BMW R75/5

For another angle on personal strength, try the serenity prayer.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that had a great ride today. Very cold but very great too.
