Default Harley demo ride

So the HD demo truck comes to the local dealer & at my son's (an HD owner) suggestion, I take out the 2012 Road Glide Ultra Classic. He tells me how if I had test drove this first, I would have never bought my Cross Country. Well, to sum it up, the test drive just reinforced I did the right thing by purchasing a Vic. The two things the bike did have going for it was the highway ultra smooth running motor at cruise combined with a far superior fairing design for wind protection. Hate to say it but it was way smoother than a Freedom engine at high speed.
However, as far as I am concerned, that is all it had going for it. My seating position felt somewhat cramped & the tank real wide. To top it off, it was an average 100 degree day yesterday & the 103 motor literally cooked my legs at every stop light. If I was wearing shorts, 3rd degree burns would have been forthcoming. Therfore, with no further ado, I have renamed this beast "Heat Glide Ultra Cooker"

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

If you ever move some place cold, the 110" runs even hotter.
