Any one's mpg or range seem significantly off?
My average mpg shows about 44/mpg after about 1400 miles but have never gotten above 39 mpg using the math of gallons/miles.
Range is prolly just a computer computation of average mpg and gas left in the tank but after a fillup will show about 250 miles but I'm getting around 200.
My instantaneous mpg is almost always 45-52 in 5/6 gear except when accelerating to hwy speed . It's lying to me.
I'm not so surprised of 39 mpg since coming from a bike that got 49 since it's a bigger motor and more weight. Wondering if previous owners motor work has affected the computers math???

The OBC is optimistic. How many miles on the bike? Any mods? Don't put too much faith in the display, many bikes are off and some quite a bit.
These bikes have a long break in period and it is dramatic. If you have mods and over 10K miles then you may want to investigate. I got 40 mpg on a Wing and get 43-44 on my XCT with a fuel controller.

Never mind, I saw your Sig line. You may only get 39 mpg with those mods. It should be a tad better but hard to say since riding habits may decrease the end result.

My VT1100 got 49 mpg. Traded it on '09 Vision. Alleged mods are Lloyds cams, pipes, and power commander. Clock reads 48k

Click to your miles per gallon and clear it to zero now ride even in middle of ride clear it to zero. You'll be surprised.

All so keep in mind its a easement

My lie meter is usually about 4 MPG on the high side. The instantaneous value alerts me if I have turned into a head wind or something similar but I ignore the actual values it gives me.

Present ride - 2013 Victory Vision, black, ATW at +3, Lloydz air filter and adjustable intake, PC5, 30,xxx miles

With a small tank, a difference of .3 gallons can make a big difference in MPG readings. On a motorcycle, there is no way to fill it to the same level each time accurately. My Vision takes a long time to fill because I let the fuel settle and add some more. Never had to do that on my Honda. So, if I add 4.3 gallons to the tank this time, but the last time filled it to a slightly different level (it looked the same, but who knows?), the math is going to be off. The computer should be calculating usage a lot more accurately than your 'eyeballing' it. If I went 140 on 3 gallons, I am getting 46.7 MPG, if I add 3.3 gallons on the same 140 miles, I am only getting 42.42 MPG.

Mine claims 39.8/gal consistently, I haven't bothered to verify. \

I just watch my odometer and fuel gauge, usually need to fill up at around 140 miles. Though yesterday I hit 183 before the fuel light came on.
