Default My home made vision backrest

Here is my homemade backrest for my vision. Stll need to cut down the lower tunes and clean up the welds and Still working out the design for a luggage rack before powder coating. I am thinking that the rack will mimic the cheese grater side covers. The back pad is from a cobra backrest off my old Honda VTX. So far i have less than $10 invested in materials.

Looks good. As long as it's strong. You can pull some G's with the Visions acceleration.

From what I see you have no gusset on the front of the uprights.
Your going to want tall ones even in the back.
If your girl friend leans back with all her body weight and they do she will bend it or it will break.

Adding a luggage rack will weak-in it cause of your small tubing

You have a good start to the back reast
