Default Ever go from Stage 1 back to Stock?

Just curious if anyone has ever went from Stage 1 back to Stock. I have considered it to quiet my '08 Vision down. It came used with the Stage 1 installed and the dealer would charge $125 to convert it back to Stock.

For that price they won't be changing th mufflers. Look around and find some stock cans, they will work fine with the S1 flash and filter.

are you asking about going back to stock flash?
stage 1 flash will not change the sound of your bike to speak of.
What the flash did was add 2% more fuel to your system along with adding 2% more timing.

If your talking about mufflers stand on the side of the road and have a budy make a few pass's so you can hear what your bike sounds like. Skip the video there worthless.

The price is for 2 hrs labor. They would put stock pipes on, stock air filter, and reflash back to stock. They would keep the stage 1 pipes and resell them to someone for a lower cost stage 1 upgrade.

KingpinRider

what your hearing for being louder might be the new air cleaner under the console. Some have said the sucking is loud.
If you have the stock pipes you can replace the loud ones your self. Not hard to do just takes time and no special tools needed

I have stage one pipes and they don't become loud till I get on it

OIC, but if the loudness of the pipes is all you are looking to lower, I will stand by what I wrote. VJ told you what the flash offers, and Vics are so lean, the 2% won't make beans exept a bit better running.

Cheers

what do you expect with a 100 horse. Are you doing the math or believing what the gauge tells you.
